 The EdgeXOS platform includes three product lines including the Edge2WAN, EdgePRO, and EdgeXL. Each EdgeXOS platform has been designed with industry leading hardware resources, including next generation route processors and in most cases next generation memory of 1GB or more.
Edge2WAN Series:
This series is designed for small and/or remote offices with under fifty users. These units provide an extensive feature set and rich security and bandwidth management functions however they are limited in scalability and multiple features should not be used at the same time.
EdgePRO Series:
This series is designed for larger offices with up to two hundred and fifty users. These units were designed with faster route processors and have more built-in memory which gives them greater scale and the ability to support many simaltaneous functions, like XFlow and Dynamic Bandwidth Management.
EdgeXL Series:
This series is deisgned for enterprise customers which have a large user base. These units include the latest route processing technology and have significant memory resources. The latest generation of the EdgeXL series can easily handle over ten thousand end-users and is the first network load balancing appliance to support over six gigabits of sustained throughput
All of our bundled solutions include our entire feature set and since the EdgeXOS platform is completely modular each network administrator can determine which capabilities they wish to use immediately, and which they wish to activate later.
