The EdgeXOS platform is highly configurable and can solve
a number of IT issues. Designed to sit between a customers LAN
and the Internet/Intranet cloud the EdgeXOS platform provides
a Unified Bandwidth Management feature set that can aggregation,
secure and optimize cloud connectivity.
Wireless Service Providers
Problem
By delivering fixed wireless services Bonzai pipeline provides
a much needed redundant path for T1 and other land line customers,
however there are challenges, including how to easily add bandwidth
for growing nodes, and how to control how much bandwidth is
used by each customer.
Solution
 By
deploying an EdgeXOS appliance Bonazi was able to increase bandwidth
at those sites which required more bandwidth without having
to pruchase expensive fiber upgrades. This saved thousands in
annual costs and the time required to bring up the new circuits.
DSL and cable connectivity is widely available and provides
an excellent alternative. Additionally the EdgeXOS was able
to shape Bonzai's customer traffic on a per network basis, and
thus ensure that customers could only obtain the bandwidth that
they were paying for and that no individual user could not up
using all of the available bandwidth resources.
